Frequently asked questions
How can I get a price quote?
The best way to get an accurate price quote is by booking a free consultation. If you can’t come in person do not worry. You can send us a brief message with your idea and picture references to our email address as well as to our Facebook and Instagram accounts.
You are also welcome to come into the shop and talk to one of our managers or artists, if they’re available. We are always more than happy to help get you the information you need.
When is the best time to get my tattoo?
We recommend getting tattooed near the end of your holiday so you can enjoy your time swimming, hiking, diving or whatever it is you like to do. 2 – 3 days before you are due to fly is a good time as the first 48 hours are critical to the healing process. If you are living in Bali we are happy to work in with your schedule.
How can I pay for my new tattoo?
We accept cash and credit cards. Cash payments are acceptable in AUD, USD, IDR and EURO.
Do I need to pay a deposit to book an appointment?
We recommend paying a deposit to secure your appointment especially for large tattoo pieces. Deposits are taken to respect both yours and our artist’s time. Deposits can be paid via bank transfer, PayPal, credit card or cash.
Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are taken to guarantee your appointment time as well as to respect our artist’s time so unfortunately they are not refundable. We understand unexpected circumstances arise from time to time so we are happy to credit your deposit and reschedule your appointment.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes we do and we will always do our best to accommodate your request.
How much will my tattoo cost?
Tattoo pricing will depend on the size and detail of your tattoo as well as the chosen artist. We offer very fair, competitive pricing and we insist on delivering the highest quality art work over and over again.
When it comes to tattoos you really do get what you pay for. We understand there are many tattoo studios to choose from and many will offer very cheap pricing. If you would like a tattoo to be proud of for the rest of your life you have found the right studio. Cheap tattoos are not good.
Does it hurt?
Yes it hurts a little however everybody has a different pain tolerance. Some people feel pain more than others however there is nothing to be worried about. Most of us are not into pain however the beauty of your new tattoo and the pride associated with wearing it will far outweigh a little pain.
How should I prepare for my tattoo session?
We recommend that you have eaten and that you are well hydrated prior to getting your tattoo. Breaks can be taken at any time if you are hungry, thirsty or not feeling well.
We definitely recommend not drinking alcohol and partying the night before your tattoo as alcohol can increase bleeding for up to 24 hours. Blood also dilutes our pigments, affecting both the appearance of your tattoo as well as the healing process. Remember to stay calm and cool, you are in the best hands.
Do not stress, it’s just a tattoo, just try not to have a hangover!
